Business Development: From the actual recording state to the strategic implementation!

Business Development is the most challenging because most versatile sales-activity. Especially since each project is different from the other. We can refer to multiple successfully implemented business development projects including

  • the introduction of international companies into the German market (for example, from France, Czech Republic, Denmark and Israel)
  • addressing new industries (for example, for a leading European service provider)
  • the placement of indirect channels (for example, for a leading European hardware vendor)

Part of our clients – mainly already settled companies – work in their existing markets at home and abroad with a successful strategy. Nevertheless, there is the need to work with a partner like sales4u to address unknown markets or to position a new product. For a successful cooperation it is obvious that a close coordination with the existing sales is essential to avoid channel conflicts. Customers are assigned, the allocation of a quota determined and prices or activities very closely coordinated.

The other part – mainly foreign companies, for which the German-speaking market is a new market – outsource the entire sales setup to sales4u. We take over existing successful concepts and practices in their home markets, however put attention to the specific requirements of the local market and adapt the approach matching with different market requirement. In this case sales4u takes over the complete responsibility for the development of the specific market. To secure a smooth and successful process a close communication on regular basis on achievements and further steps is settled. The content and sales activities are similar to the ones with the already settled clients.
